We have an exciting announcement about an upcoming patch: we’re adding a new wildcard that runs Doom!
This truly is the future of social deduction. We’ve added an exciting new Wildcard that changes up gameplay significantly - how it works is whenever you would take bluff damage, you may play Doom instead.
Doom is a 1993 first-person shooter game developed by id Software for MS-DOS. Players assume the role of a space marine, popularly known as Doomguy, fighting his way through hordes of invading demons from Hell. Wikipedia
While we normally listen to player feedback, today we decided to do the opposite and put hundreds of hours into a Wildcard port of Doom - we feel it’s important to always stay innovative, and we hope you’ll enjoy this change as much as we do.
Other patch notes:
Drain has been reworded to be more clear about how it works: “Target player reveals Shield from their hand, shuffles the deck and redraws Shield. You take 3 damage.”
Bribe has been renamed to “Donate” because that’s what everyone calls it anyway.
Iago can now immediately trigger the end of the game by killing Hamlet.
The Energuy has been removed from the game.
